As we had a problem with the water on the toilet floor flowing from the well instead of into it when we showered, I have leveled up the floor with putty to make it flow towards the well and put on a Flexiteek mat.

I started by pouring water on the floor to find the right levels and see how much putty it would take. With 6 liters of water the level was horizontal so with 7 liters of putty I got a bit of a fall.

Then I sanded the surface to be putty with sandpaper and washed it with acetone. Next I sawed 2 long wooden wedges  to pull off after the filling. I put the wedges as far apart as possible and putty the area between the wedges. When the putty had set, I removed the wedges and filled in the channels that remained.

On the advice of Nils Malmgren AB, I used their epoxy putty NM Elastic 705.

I then made a template in paper which I handed over to Marindesign AB who manufactured the Flexiteek carpet. Now all that remains is to glue it.

We have Hanse original sprayhood and cockpit canopy.

Now we have had more and larger windows sewn in and at the same time had all seams washed, impregnated and re-sewn. It became very bright and pleasant in the cockpit after this and hopefully we can now keep the Sprayhood and canopy for a number of years to come.

Ever since the boat was new, I've been irritated about the external canopy bow fittings and have now finally gotten round to changing them to recessed fittings.
