Sprayhood

It took some bloody knuckles before we found out that the strut for the cockpit sprayhood was fitted badly. We used to pump the winch handle back and forth till one day when we decided to go full 360 degrees and squashed our hands quite badly.

1. It takes a smaller miracle to be able to pull the handle 360 degrees on the port side of the boat. It seems that the deck is slightly tighter on portside than on starboard side.

2. This is how it looks on starboard side, lots of space for the hands.

3. The finger cruncher on S/Y Älva. All guests are recommended to have personal injury insurance. Or at least, gloves!
