Shower door clasp

We wanted to keep the shower door closed during sailing we needed to  find a solution that did not include drilling anywhere. The result is shown here. a piece of oak finished with some parafin oil and the door stays closed!

 

1. The small piece of wood in the middle keeps the clasp in place even in hard weather conditions and prevents the door slamming.
 

2. Treated with paraffin oil to keep moisture out.
